Dr Liam Profile IMG

Liam loves hiking, animals, music and the odd bit of painting. Skiing is his newest passion – he loves to hit the slopes and work on his carving.

Liam graduated dentistry with honours from University of Sydney in 2011. In his studies he won a number of awards including the WJD Partridge Memorial Scholarship for Proficiency in Life Sciences, the John R Mayne Prize for Proficiency in Preclinical Endodontics and the Oral Health Foundation Scholarship for his elective project in which he helped to set up a dental clinic providing dental care to orphans and disadvantaged people in Cambodia.

Prior to dentistry Liam worked as a medical scientist in some of Brisbane’s largest hospital pathology laboratories. His background in medical pathology further informs his understanding of his patients’ medical conditions and their mutual relationship with oral health.

In addition to being highly skilled in general restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Liam has a special interest in root canal therapy. Beyond winning an endodontics prize at university, Liam has undertaken further studies in root canal therapy over the years to further develop his skills and technique. Liam is also trained in the provision of mandibular advancement splints for treatment of sleep apnoea and snoring and is currently completing his Graduate Diploma of Digital Orthodontic Treatments, further developing his techniques and understanding of orthodontic aligner treatment.

Liam has a gentle, caring and thorough approach to dentistry and patient care, and prides himself on putting nervous patients at ease.
